BLUE ROCKET

The band formed in autumn of 1997 by Marek Lepší - singer and lyrics, Petr Samek -guitarist, Daniel Slavik - bassguitarist and Lázňa - drummer. Within a short time they felt the desire to have the second guitarist so they asked aged sixteen Jan Černý. He refused but Ondřej Dědič and Filip Šašek - keybordist joined the band. After few years Mara stopped singing but continued working on lyrics. His place was alternated by Ája Hackerová and the other guys from the band. After leaving one of the leaders Lázňa the band completally broke up. There were some attempts to brighten up the band by Slavík, Dědič, Samek, Hackerová and new members David Kelič - keybordist and Antonín Moravec as a singer. After two-years break up at the end of the year 2006 the band has been revived by Lázňa, Samek, Slavík and Mára with reinvited Jan Černý and vocalists Lucka and Petra. The full sound was achieved by third guitar of Milan Illeš. František Janačík supplemented him and brought harmonica in. Where would the band be without ladies - from 2009 Míša and Jana took the ladies vocals part nowadays Jana stays the only vocalist.
